TracerTrack is a GPS-equipped surface drifter tracking system. It was designed as part of a project at the Wave Engineering Lab of Tallinn University of Technology.
This software retrieves real-time positioning data from sea-surface drifters released into open sea, and plots their trajectories on a Google Maps layer.
Tools are available in order to perform basic filtering and sorting of the data, as well as to detect whenever satellite signal is lost.
The interface runs in a web browser or as a standalone desktop client (Windows and Mac)
